This Zula slip joint pocket knife has an AEBL stainless steel blade with attention to fit and finish. It has great walk and talk as a slip joint folder should: a blade that is centered when closed and a finish on the blade and handle that should be admired. The handle is assembled with Thunderstorm Kevlar scales (Kevlar with brass wire imbedded and bonded with a very strong resin rated at 600 degrees). The nail nick is deep enough for the shortest of thumb nails. Blade thickness is 1/8, length is 2 7/8 inches, 7 inches overall.
About the Maker: Cody Carr is from Clarksville, Arkansas and specializes in full tang knives and slip joint folders. He started leather work in 2017 and took on knife making in 2020, and his main inspiration in both trades is to carry on the tradition of the craft. Cody learned the art of building folders under the teachings of Chris Taylor in 2025.
