The Vulture is a Nessmuk Bushcraft style of knife that is stock removal from BE86 (8670) steel. It has a scant style of grind that allows for bushcraft work and allows for strength behind the cut. The handle is constructed from Tiger Maple with black liners and two 1/4 inch brass mosaic pins and a 1/4 inch brass lanyard hole. Full tang construction. 4 5/8 inch blade, 9 1/2 inches overall. BE86 (8670) steel.
Comes boxed with a brown leather sheath and knife wax made by the maker.
About the Maker: Greg Campbell owns and operates Cur Custom Blades in Richmond, Virginia. He has been making knives for 9 years and specializes in bushcraft, hunting, EDC and culinary knives in the Japanese style. Greg also teaches knifemaking classes out of Hardway Workshop, a community shop in Richmond, Virginia that he was instrumental in starting. When he's not in the shop, you'll find him managing a genetics lab at Virgina Commonwealth University or at home with his wife of 30 years and three daugthers.
