Slicer in CPM154 w/ Tiger Wood/ Vintage Micarta

This Slicing knife is a rework of a K-tip style chef knife constructed of 1/16 inch thick CPM154 stainless steel with a dulled finish. The handle is a hidden tang construction assembled with Tiger Wood and stacked Vintage Linen Micarta with internal pins. Blade length is 7 5/8 inches, 12 1/2 inches overall and weighs 3.8 oz. Stock removal.

About the Maker: Jonathan Caruso is a Forged in Fire champion and a Journeyman Smith through the American Bladesmith Society. He retired from the United States Marine Corps and now works at his home forge in Arkansas and is co-owner of Arkansas Knife Shop. He has been making knives since 2013.
