This Nakiri Chef Knife is forged from 52100 with a highly polished forged finish that measures 7 7/8 inches in the blade, 12 7/8 inches in overall length. It measures 1/8 inch thick on the spine at the ricasso and tapers to 3/32 at the tip.

The handle construction consist of Stabilized Cherry Burl with a black bolster.  The handle has a half WA style on the spine with a Western style flow on the underside to fit the curve of the users grip. The handle measures 9/16 thick at the bolster and 11/16 inch at the pommel.

Hidden tang construction. 7 7/8 inch blade, 12 7/8 inches overall. Weight: 8.1 oz. Highly Polished 52100 carbon steel.

Comes with a zippered pouch.

 

About the Maker: Jesse Bruner owns and operates Forges and Torches in Eskridge, Kansas. He began blacksmithing in elementary school after purchasing a forge at a farm auction. In 2020 he began pursuing knife making more seriously. He primarily forges kitchen knives, while also maintaining a strong passion for daggers and swords.
