This Integral Slicer is forged from 1085 with a hand rubbed finish that measures 9 3/4 inches in the blade, 14 3/4 inches in overall length. It measures 1/8 inch thick on the spine just in front of the integral bolster and tapers to a very acute tip.
The handle construction consist of Stabilized Maple and has a sculpted shape to fit the curve of the users grip. The handle measures 1/2 inch thick and swells nicely at the middle of the handle to 11/16 inch then tapers at pommel to 5/8 inch.
Hidden tang integral bolster construction. 9 3/4 inch blade, 14 3/4 inches overall. Weight: 5.3 oz. Hand rubbed 1085 carbon steel.
Comes with a zippered pouch.
About the Maker: Jesse Bruner owns and operates Forges and Torches in Eskridge, Kansas. He began blacksmithing in elementary school after purchasing a forge at a farm auction. In 2020 he began pursuing knife making more seriously. He primarily forges kitchen knives, while also maintaining a strong passion for daggers and swords.
