Hunter in 80CrV2 w/ Orange G10

This Hunter/Skinner is forged from 80CrV2 with a flat grind, hand rubbed finish with forging marks and a tapered full tang. It is comfortable and lightweight in the hand, lending itself to be an easy carry and full time user. The handle is assembled with orange G10 scales and black G10 Liners with 1/8 inch black carbon fiber pins. Full tang. 3 3/4 inch blade, 7 1/8 inches overall. 80CrV2 steel. Forged.

It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, a black zipper pouch, and a custom right-handed dyed black and orange leather sheath that has been hand stamped and sewn by Cindy Akin.

About the Maker: Ben Akin has been making knives since 2014 and is a voting member of The Knifemakers' Guild. He has won awards throughout his career for his bowie, chef and hunting knives and has a bowie knife featured in Blade magazine March 2024 edition. He is a member of the Idaho Knife Association, Montana Knifemakers' Association, Midwest Knifemakers' Guild, and is an Apprentice in the American Bladesmith Association.
