This Hunter is stock removal from 52100 high carbon steel with a flat ground clip point profile and 1/8 inch thick mirror finished full tang blade. The handle is slightly less than 1/2 inch thick at the butt of the knife and has a contoured and shaped profile that is not only pleasing to the eye but sits in the hand just right. The handle is assembled with Black Ash burl scales that have been stabilized with nickel silver bolsters and two 1/16 inch pins. Full tang. 3 1/8 inch blade, 7 1/8 inches overall. 52100 high carbon. Stock removal.
This knife comes with a Herman Oak leather fold over drop sheath with beautiful stamping that is expertly hand crafted by the maker.
About the Maker: Cody Carr is from Clarksville, Arkansas and specializes in full tang knives and slip joint folders. He started leather work in 2017 and took on knife making in 2020, and his main inspiration in both trades is to carry on the tradition of the craft. Cody learned the art of building folders under the teachings of Chris Taylor in 2025.
