This Forged Chopper is constructed with a re-curved belly and the blade is made from 1095 with a half flat grind, acid etched finish and full tang. The handle is double dyed curly Maple with 3/16 inch pins. Full Tang, 1/4 inch thick on the spine, 5 1/2 inch blade and 11 inches overall. 1095 steel. Forged.
It comes with a right handed brown dyed leather sheath made by the maker.
About the Maker: Leonard Hynum Jr. is from Wilburn, Arkansas and has been bladesmithing since 2021. He is a regular member of the Arkansas Knife Guild where he has learned much of his smithing knowledge and skills.
