This EDC/Hunting Knife is forged from 80CrV2 steel down to a little over 1/8 inch thick with a clip point profile and hidden tang design. The handle is stabilized Oak with green dye that is sculpted and contoured to sit in the hand very comfortably. The finish on the handle is very smooth and soft to the touch. The guard is constructed from bronze and has a slim profile that is just about a 1/2 inch wide on the face. 4 1/4 inch blade, 8 3/4 inches overall. Forged. 80CrV2 steel.
This knife comes with a right handed dark brown leather sheath.
About the Maker: Jason Coy resides in South Central Missouri and started Bladesmithing in 2018 after watching a couple seasons of Forged in Fire. He eventually went on the show and competed in Season 8 Episode 32 and WON! He earned his Journeyman Smith status in the American Bladesmithing Society in 2025. His style is influenced by American Bladesmithing Society Master Smith James Rodebaugh, Jason Knight, and Burt Foster and others like them. At the 2024 Central States Hammer-In held in Piedmont, OK, Jason won numerous awards for his exceptional work and skill in his knife making.
