Fighter Bowie in W2 w/ Sycamore Burl

This Hunter is forged from W2 high carbon steel with a flat ground blade, a long clip point with a slight swedge on the spine. It has been meticulously hand sanded for a uniform crisp finish on the plunge lines, ricasso, and blade allowing the hamon to really pop. The handle is constructed with a guard that has been shaped and finished very well to complement the transition from the blade to the handle.

The handle is Sycamore Burl with great color and figuring in it. It has been shaped and sculpted with a great fit in the hand. The guard is constructed of brass with a great seamless fit to the blade and transition to the handle. Hidden tang. 3/16 thick spine at the widest with a distal taper to the tip, 6 1/8 inch blade, 10 3/4 inches overall. W2 high carbon steel w/ hamon. Forged. Flat ground.

It comes with a Zipper pouch with soft interior lining. 

About the Maker: Grant Nabity has been serious in his knife making since 2021. He is from Tescott, Kansas and is currently an ABS Apprentice Smith and a board member of the KCKA (Kansas Custom Knifemakers Assoc.) with aspirations of becoming a Journeyman Smith in the ABS. His primary style of knife is kitchen and hunting knives with a emphasis on the Brute De Forge style. He enjoys forging as close to finish as possible.
