This forged Damascus Yaak Mountain Hunter is constructed of 1086 and 15N20 high carbon steel with a very distinguished pattern. The guard is black G10 with a seamless fit and finish to the handle which is constructed of Maple Burl which has been dyed purple and stabilized by K&G Supply. The handle is secured with an 1/8 inch domed and polished G10 pin. Blade length is 4 1/2 inches, 9 1/8 inches overall. Forged. 
This knife comes with a beautiful stamped leather belt sheath which has been dyed brown with black accents made by Claude Scott.

 

About the Maker: Kelly J. Frazier has been making knives professionally since 2013. His offgrid shop is located in the mountains of Northwest Montana, and his specialties include San Mai, and virtually flawless handrubbed finishes in a variety of carbon steels and handle materials as well inlays. His work has been featured in Blade Magazine, Knife Magazine, Messer Magazine, Knives Annual and Knife and Gear Society from 2019 to present. His awards include Best Bowie, Best Hand Forged, Best Hunter, Best Open Class and two Best in Show awards. He is a current member of both the Montana Knife Makers Association and the Idaho Knife Makers Association.
