This Damascus bowie is constructed of multi explosion Mosaic pattern welded steel using 1080 and 15n20. The pattern has been forge welded very well to the point of each explosion lining up symmetrically. Beginning with the guard, the handle is assembled with a stainless steel guard, an imitation coral spacer, and a Black Ash Burl handle with a single pin. It has been shaped and contoured to fit in the hand very comfortably. Blade length is 5 1/2 inches, 10 3/8 inches overall. Forged.
This knife comes with a tan/brown leather hand stamped belt sheath made by the maker.
About the Maker: Terry Wright is from Harrisburg, AR and has been making knives since 2008. He transitioned into forging complex mosaic Damascus patterns in 2018 and enjoys making stunning Damascus blades that other makers have to think hard to figure out the process. His knives have been featured in Blade Magazine and Knives Illustrated.
