This Hunter is a forged blade from 5160 with a flat grind, Scotch Brite belt finish, deferentially heat treated, and tapered full tang that has been peened arround the handle scales. The handle is Ironwood with 1/8 inch peened nickel silver pins. Full Tang, 4 1/8 inch blade and 8 3/8 inch overall. 5160 steel. Forged.
It comes with a right handed Badger Claw Leather sheath.
About the Maker: Jonathan Caruso is a Forged in Fire champion and a Journeyman Smith through the American Bladesmith Society. He retired from the United States Marine Corps and now works at his home forge in Arkansas and is co-owner of Arkansas Knife Shop. He has been making knives since 2013.
