This skinner hunting knife is stock removal constructed from Damascus steel with a trailing point style that is good for detailed work or would make for a good EDC. The handle is assembled of Desert Ironwood Burl with a a nickel silver bolster with brass liners and spacers. The brass liners and small portion of the spine of the knife have been embellished with intricate file work by the maker. The blade length is 4 1/8 inches and an overall length of 8 1/4 inches.
This knife comes with a brown leather drop sheath with a stamped pattern.
About the Maker: Vernon Red is from Conway and began knife making in 1988. With working experience from the tool and die making trades, knife making just came natural to him. He makes all styles of knives from small game to large Bowie as well as traditional folder and lock back pocket knives.
